My name is Kim McCarn and I create custom stained glass. I am married and a mother of four beautiful children, and to help support my family, I do stained glass. I have been working with glass now for about 7 years. I am always amazed at the beauty I can create with glass.

The process first starts with a pattern. Then the glass is cut and ground to the desired shape. I then copper foil each piece and arrange them for soldering. Once soldering is finished, the piece is cleaned and then a patina is applied to the solder lines. You can choose a silver, copper or black patina.
